As for Cassette Beasts, that’s a game where you encounter all manner of monsters and people who use cassette tapes as armor. Strange for sure, but kinda cool sounding too. It’s a puzzle game, yes, but there’s an interesting sizing mechanic happening, were the player is huge while in the middle of the world, and gets smaller as they go out into it.
Well, actually forget that, they’re both odd, but Maquette does sound pretty interesting. The spotlight titles are Maquette, which is a first-person puzzler, and Cassette Beasts, which is odd. That’s because while the Switch has its usual assortment of drops, there are no names that I think anyone would describe as ‘big time’. If you’re looking for big names, you’re going to have to look elsewhere this week. It’s an interesting week for Nintendo fans, who are treated to a schedule of smaller releases, though there are a few diamonds in the rough.
